Our Story

With over twenty three years of experience in residential construction, Hamilton Builders is a family owned company building custom homes and custom remodels. The husband and wife team of Jonathan and Melissa Hamilton focus on bringing to the building process the craftsmanship required to deliver a home that clearly expresses the vision of their client.

Aspiring to be a builder from an early age, Jonathan apprenticed himself as a carpenter through high school and college. After graduation from LSU, he owned his own subcontracting business framing new homes, working side by side with his carpenters. Unlike many builders, Jonathan has years of hands on experience that allow him to bring to each home that he constructs only the most talented craftsmen and subcontractors.

While Jonathan focuses on home construction, Melissa, a graduate of the University of Mississippi, assists each client with the selection of the highest quality fixtures and other design elements as well as providing any other client requested services.

Having constructed some of the most elegant homes in Shreveport and Bossier, Hamilton Builders strives to exceed each client’s expectation in every home that they build.
